Phew! What a busy term we have just had: Children in Need; Parent Consultations, Progress Reports and preparing for Christmas and our Christmas Fayre. A big hit was making our festive table decorations and our Christmas cards – when we used lots of glue and glitter!!!
We all made great progress in our learning: our SALT visited us during an Attention Everyone session and following her visit, many of us will be moving onto Phase 4 of Attention Everyone; The class team are also so pleased with how our understanding of how we can learn to do new things by imitating our teachers has improved. Some pupils have become toilet trained over the past term, while others have made very pleasing progress in developing their play and social skills – specifically gaining in self confidence and enjoyment in playing with peers and also being able to extend their play, learning to play in a more purposeful or imaginative way with toys.
We are now looking forward to next term.
Happy New Year from everyone in P5.
